𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐬 - 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
We start the first Thursday of highlighting our #photographicexhibition “6 𝑦𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑠 𝐼𝑟𝑎𝑞 - 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑟𝑒𝑓𝑢𝑔𝑒” by presenting the daily life mothers in camps are facing:
“My baby was born here in the camp with limited medical assistance in very harsh and unhygienic conditions. But there is no hospital and no proper clinic that can deal with these things. Everyone did the best they could. And I am thankful I have a healthy baby in my arms. But every morning when I wake up, I am scared that the baby will not.”
If you want to learn more about the reality of mothers in camps or are interested in seeing more stories of the people we serve and our work of the last years, visit our photo exhibition and read the stories behind the photos: https://lnkd.in/dwttZcn
