Ruth Dresselgn Deneke

Ruth Dresselgn Deneke, is a Rotarian,a Pan African activist and influencer, believes in Youth empowerment andengagement, and is by profession a  Pharmacist.
An experienced professional, she has managedmultiple key accounts for multinationals within the Pharmaceutical industrywith a focus on Diabetes, Anemia, and Maternal and Child Nutrition. As well as,managing the commercial aspect of the small molecule formulation business inits strategy, pricing, marketing, and portfolio management within theLife Science industry in Germany.
In addition, a testament to her character andskills are the many leadership positions she has in many African CSOs. Tomention a few she leads: Africa 2.0, Africa youth Panel and African Artistpeace initiative, Women in Africa, etc. who are involved in empowering youthand women, global impact policy such as Global SDGs, Africa 2063 Agenda,climate change, science and technology with regards to community change andvoluntarism. She also haschartered the Rotary club of Arada with friends. And currently serving District9212 as RYLA chair.

She is currently acandidate in a Law and Business Master program at Bucerius Law School incooperation with the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany. Herresearch focuses on the intricacies of African regional integrationand the African Continental Free Trade Area. She is currently working with organizationslike Impact 17 in consulting different Partnerships to multistakeholder to makethe world better.

She believes that Africa hasuntouched potential and many resources, one of which is its people. She firmlywants to play a key role in cultivating this potential of young people and workon human capital to achieve the promise and true potential of Africa'sdevelopment.
