In commitment to addressing humanitarian issues globally, Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation joined several organizations at the 19th edition of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference (DIHAD 2023), held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai from 13th to 15th March 2023.
The DIHAD Conference is an annual gathering that brings together influential stakeholders from across the world and serves as a platform for humanitarian organizations, governments, and NGOs to converge and strategize on delivering vital aid and promoting sustainable development.
Held under the theme "Energy and Aid; Capitalizing on Available Resources," the three-day conference witnessed Bring Hope's active participation in various plenary sessions,workshops, and networking events to build networks and engage in meaningful conversations around issues confronting the humanitarian sector, including climate change and sustainable development.
Bring Hope's team, consisting of dedicated individuals driven by their passion for making a positive impact,engaged in fruitful conversations with industry peers and exhibitors such as the Al Khair Foundation and Hayrat Humanitarian Aid Association. Discussions with these organizations were centered on forging partnerships and providing efficient services to the people of Syria. These engagements aimed to establish local collaborations and enhance the impact of Bring Hope's efforts in the country.
Additionally, the team met with Aster Volunteers. They explored the potential of offering medical and non-medical aid to under-served communities in refugee and IDP camps in Erbil, Iraq, where Bring Hope implements its projects. The discussions held great promise for a future collaboration that could significantly improve the lives of those needing humanitarian assistance in the region.
During the conference, the Bring Hope team also engaged with organizations such as MASHAV - Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation, and Education without Borders to pursue shared goals. By leveraging their expertise and resources, these partnerships could bring about transformative change in communities and foster sustainable growth.
Overall, the DIHAD Conference served as an invaluable platform for Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation to connect with stakeholders in the humanitarian sector and identify potential areas for collaboration. Through the networks developed during the conference, Bring Hope envisions exploring opportunities to work with the exhibitors to enhance the organization's humanitarian efforts in communities experiencing a crisis.
